The Crowne Plaza is conveniently located on the corner of West Madison and North Halsted Streets.   Since it is such a short distance away from Chicago Union Station, the taxi fare will be only around $5.00.  If you are coming into Chicago from O'Hare Airport, get off the Blue Line at UIC-Halsted.  It is a $4.00 taxi ride from the Chicago Transit Authority station.  The hotel has a fitness center and acclaimed restaurants Dine and MetroKlub.
